WBiIŚ existed for over 60 years. A strong position in the north-eastern region developed offering students a solid education based on strong academic staff, modern curricula and the constant expansion of laboratory facilities. Thanks to the cooperation with the institutions of regional and local government, representatives of the regional economy and scientific organizations and industry, our students participate in joint ventures, practices and internships that help shape and build careers. Scientific and research activities at the Faculty is conducted in the area of two scientific specialties: engineering, construction and engineering and environmental protection.

Engineering Environment (including second degree studies in English Advanced Technologies in Environmental Engineering)- Spatial Economy
Landscape Architecture - Environmental Protection
- Biotechnology (Direction newly constructed)
III studies in scientific disciplines construction and environmental engineering
Second degree majoring in environmental engineering specialty Advanced Technologies in Environmental Engineering are available to foreigners, graduates and degree of environmental engineering and related fields. Students prepare for the design and implementation of the investment and operation of environmental protection facilities. Department plans to expand the offer of studies for foreigners about the direction of construction.
