Mazurskie Okna Cluster comprises businesses, business environment institutions, and scientific research units operating in the Warmia and Mazury Voivodeship and the northern region of the Podlasie Voivodeship involved in the windows and doors industry and related fields. These companies include micro, small and medium businesses from the fenestration industry, producing windows and doors, and related fields such as: wood and wood products, window coverings, windowsills, glass, metal hardware, security hardware, garage doors and automation.
Experience
The Mazurskie Okna Cluster was defined in 2006 by businesses of Warmia and Mazury and by the Regional Development Agency of Warmia and Mazury based in Olsztyn. As part of the cluster's operation during the years 2006-2009 several initiatives have been realized (based on agreements of cooperation), the "Mazury Windows" Association was established in 2007 and subsequently a Society with the same name in 2009, including businesses which have been operating within the cluster as members. The role of the Society is to conduct operations promoting the development of the cluster.
Export products/services
The market activity of the cluster occurs at the regional, national and international levels. To realize this, a combined offer, which includes the best products proffered by cluster members, has been created. These products have been given names connected with the Warmia and Mazury region (such as Skanda Window, Goldap Door, etc.).
